African Heritage Month Fact:
From trailblazers like Herb Carnegie and Willie O’Ree to superstars P.K. Subban and Wayne Simmonds, black Canadians have gone from playing hockey i n the streets to playing hockey in the big arenas. The Coloured Hockey League of the Maritimes was formed i n 1894 , 22 years before the NHL was formed!

Students participating in the African Heritage Month Readers’ Theatre will have a practice today from 1-2 in the resource room.  Please check in with your teachers for attendance, and attend only with teacher permission.

Girl’s Basketball
Congrats to the girls basketball team for their win against George P. Vanier yesterday. The girls will host a regional game next Wednesday at 4pm. Go Bobcats!!
