This month is African Heritage Month

Canada is home to some of the fastest men in the world.  Harry Jerome, Donovan Bailey, Bruny Surin, and Andre De Grasse are some of the many Canadian athletes that earned medals during the Olympic Games and World Athletic Championships.

African Heritage Month Readers’ Theatre
Students participating in the African Heritage Month Readers’ Theatre will have a practice tomorrow from 9-10 in the resource room.  Please check in with your teachers for attendance, and attend only with teacher permission.

Girl’s Basketball
There will be a girl’s basketball practice tomorrow from 2:00-4:00pm.  Please be sure to have drives arranged.  Their next game is on Wednesday, here at Brookside at 4:00pm.  This is the Regional Semifinal.
