Volunteering in the HRCE
The process to volunteer in schools can sometimes be a challenging procedure. In an effort to make this process more clear, all volunteers MUST have the following documents: Child Abuse Registry and Vulnerable Sector Check (Criminal Records Check) completed (they remain good for three years). The process for obtaining each of these documents varies, as does the time to receive them back, so we would like to encourage all parents/guardians who are thinking about potentially volunteering in the in the future to please complete the applications before the next school year. If you have any questions or would like the school to provide a letter for the Vulnerable Sector Check (Criminal Records Check), please contact the main office at 902-852-2062.
