We would like to remind ALL students and staff that frequent hand washing with soap and warm water remains the best defense against the spread of respiratory illnesses.

Earth Day Art Contest
Do you want to try and win an iPad? Submit a piece of art (drawing painting, sculpture, poem, etc.) that conveys what Earth Day means to you.  See Mr. Moyse for more details.  Deadline is April 9.

Brookside Spirit Week
Spirit Week at Brookside Junior High continues.  Today is Duo Day - Dress up with a friend as your favourite duo - Batman & Robin, Salt & Pepper, etc.

Friday - PJ Day - dress up in comfy clothes

Events going on during the week are:

Baby Photo contest - check out the bulletin board and try to guess what teachers look like when they were babies. The student with the most correct guesses wins.  The ballots are in the main office.

Art Contest - pick up your scribble picture and use your artistic skills to create the best picture.

Thursday at Lunch - Duo Day - students can compete to be crowned the most dynamic duo of Brookside.

Friday PM - Chocolate Bar Bingo - play simple one line games in the afternoon for students to win a chocolate bar.

Girls Basketball Jersey
The girls basketball team are reminded to bring in their cleaned basketball Jerseys and shorts to the main office.

Cafeteria
Today’s special in the cafeteria is Vegetarian or Hawaiian pizza, slice of watermelon, small milk or juice cup for $5.25.
