We would like to remind ALL students and staff that frequent hand washing with soap and warm water remains the best defense against the spread of respiratory illnesses.

Brookside Spirit Week
Spirit Week at Brookside Junior High continues.  Today is Brookside Spirit Day - Blue and white day - hopefully you’ve dressed up in your Brookside swag or blue and white to show support for Brookside

Thursday - Duo Day - Dress up with a friend as your favourite duo - Batman & Robin, Salt & Pepper, etc.

Friday - PJ Day - dress up in comfy clothes

Events going on during the week are:

Baby Photo contest - check out the bulletin board and try to guess what teachers look like when they were babies. The student with the most correct guesses wins.  The ballots are in the main office.

Art Contest - pick up your scribble picture and use your artistic skills to create the best picture.

Thursday at Lunch - Duo Day - students can compete to be crowned the most dynamic duo of Brookside.

Friday PM - Chocolate Bar Bingo - play simple one line games in the afternoon for students to win a chocolate bar.

Girls Basketball Jersey
The girls basketball team are reminded to bring in their cleaned basketball Jerseys and shorts to the main office.

Popcorn
There will be “no” popcorn sales tomorrow.

Cafeteria
Today’s Special in the cafeteria is Mexican Fries, choice of small white milk or apple juice cup for $5.25.

Girl on Fire
The time for Girl on fire this week has changed again. The new time is from 10:30-12 this Thursday in room 112.
