Hand Washing
We would like to remind ALL students and staff that frequent hand washing with soap and warm water remains the best defense against the spread of respiratory illnesses.

Brookside Spirit Week
This week is Spirit Week at Brookside Junior High.  Today is Future Day.  You get to dress up as to what you would like to be when you grow up.  

Tomorrow is Tacky Dress Day.  Dress up in tacky outdated, mismatched clothes.  The tackier the better.
Wednesday - Brookside Spirit Day - Blue and white day - dress up in Brookside swag or blue and white to show support for Brookside

Thursday - Duo Day - Dress up with a  friend as your favourite duo - Batman & Robin, Salt & Pepper, etc.

Friday - PJ Day - dress up in comfy clothes

Events going on during the week are:

Baby Photo contest - check out the bulletin board and try to guess what teachers look like when they were babies. The student with the most correct guesses wins.

Art Contest - pick up your scribble picture and use your artistic skills to create the best picture.

Thursday at Lunch - Duo Day - students can compete to be crowned the most dynamic duo of Brookside.

Friday PM - Chocolate Bar Bingo - play simple one line games in the afternoon for students to win a chocolate bar.

Grade 7 French Immersion Ste. Anne’s Trip Fundraiser
Grade 7 French Immersion students doing the Veseys Fundraiser for their Ste. Anne’s trip are to have their orders passed in by tomorrow to Marjorie in the main office.

Girl on Fire
There will be no Girl’s on Fire Monday or Wednesday this week.  Instead, class will take place on Thursday from 11-1pm in room 112.
