International Women’s Day

March 8th is International Women’s Day.  Take a look at the facts about girls and women on the bulletin board outside the gym and use that information to fill out an entry form.  Pass in your entry forms to the office before the end of the day Friday for a chance to win a prize!

Monday - Future Day - dress up as what you want to be when you grow up

Tuesday Tacky Dress day - dress up in tacky outdated, mismatched clothes, the tackier the better

Wednesday - Brookside Spirit Day - Blue and white day - dress up in Brookside swag or blue and white to show support for Brookside

Thursday - Duo Day - Dress up with a  friend as your favourite duo - Batman & Robin, Salt & Pepper, etc.

Friday - PJ Day - dress up in comfy clothes

Weekly events -

Baby Photo contest - check out the bulletin board and try to guess what teachers look like when they were babies. The student with the most correct guesses wins.

Art Contest - pick up your scribble picture and use your artistic skills to create the best picture.

Friday PM - Chocolate Bar Bingo - play simple one line games in the afternoon for students to win a chocolate bar.

Thursday at Lunch - Duo Day - students can compete to be crowned the most dynamic duo of Brookside.
