This month is African Heritage Month
Black Canadians are involved in many genres of music from opera, jazz, and gospel, to R & B and hip hop.  Portia White, Oscar Peterson, Maestro Fresh Wes, The Weeknd, and Drake are some Canadian artists that achieved great success in music.
