This month is African Heritage Month

Did you know that black people originated from the continent of Africa? In fact, modern humans originated from Africa and spread throughout the world!Africa has 54 countries and is home to 1.3 billion people who speak over 2000 languages, including Swahili, Arabic, Yoruba, English, and French.

50/50 Tickets

A reminder to grade 9 students this is the last week to sell tickets.  Tomorrow is the last draw.

Yearbook

There will be a yearbook meeting today at lunch in the computer lab. Please eat as soon as possible and meet in the computer lab as soon as you are finished eating.

Girl’s Basketball
The team will have practice today after school from 2-3:30pm.  Their final game of the year will take place on Monday at Rocky Lake.  This is for 3rd place out of all of the HRCE junior highs.
Popcorn
There will be popcorn on sale today during recess and lunch for a $1.00 a bag.
