Student Vote: The results from Brookside Student Vote are in:

we had 182 students participate which is 60% of the school population.

Shawn McMahon (Independent) 1 vote

Kevin Schulthies (Christian Heritage Party) 6 votes
Thomas Trappenberg (Green Party ) 63 votes

There were also 2 spoiled ballots. So Brookside's election voted Thomas Trappenberg of the Green Party.

Take Your Kid to Work Day: All grade 9 students are reminded that their TYKTW day permission forms are due to homeroom teachers. Please hand them in asap.

Hackergals: We will have a brief meeting in room 211 at lunch on Wednesday. Any girls interested in grade 6-9 are encouraged to come out.

Cross Country:  Congratulations to our cross country runners who participated in the Regional Cross Country Meet on Friday at Point Pleasant Park.  The weather was great and all of our runners put out a fantastic effort.  Three of our runners are advancing to Provincials.  Abby Melvin in Junior girls, Iris Gamble in Intermediate girls and Griffin Gamble in Intermediate boys.
